A cursory description is in the Downloads section:

    https://www.phaseone.com/en/Download/Do ... a-Pro.aspx

If you look on the lower right of that page you'll see a Documentation section. Open that to find a link to download the Media Pro User Guide (it'll have more information).

Thanks, I thought as much. I was looking for a more typical product page with functions and features, technical requirements, etc but it looks like I'll have to do a deep dive and read the manual!

Shucks, it's not even a manual. It's just a collection of all the on-line help pages, without any discernible structure and in all shapes and sizes of typeface sizes and page layouts.

I can't possibly gain an introduction to Media Pro this way, let alone learn about its capabilities and usage. I'm troubled that I have the clear impression Phase One is not serious about selling, supporting and developing the product. Am I not wrong?

I'm sorry, I didn't realize PO's guide was so poor. To be honest, I downloaded it long ago but never used it. I still use the original iView MediaPro user's manual (which is excellent). As far as I know, Microsoft never released their own user guide for Expression Media, but even Microsoft's Quick Start Guide is more organized than PO's user guide. I don't know if either of those documents is available online any more. But I did just discover an older (hidden) Media Pro product page here:

    https://www.phaseone.com/en/Imaging-Sof ... a-Pro.aspx?

It includes descriptions of many of the main features.

I don't know. If you had asked me that question several months ago, I would have answered, "No." But since PO did just release a beta version of Media Pro 1.6, it appears they are still interested in continued development. I hope so.

Thanks, but the impending release of v1.6 beta hasn't convinced me of 'continued development'. The first upgrade listed as included in the release is "OSX 10.11 Support".

As a user, would I have been expected to still be on OSX 10.10.x for all my computing needs just so I could continue to use a stable release of Media Pro? The first public beta of OSX 10.11 was 9 July 2015. and the first end user release was on 30 September 2015. OSX 10.11 is already up to version .3, with .4 being reported as imminent. And Phase One is only now at the point of soliciting users to help test Media Pro 1.6b and is warning it is not to be used for "mission critical or ... in working environments"? That tells me v1.6 is still some distance from release to end users and that PO is in no hurry.

I may appear cynical, but that doesn't seem like 'continued development' to me!

That's why I posted the 'Media Pro no longer a product?' question a while ago:
    viewtopic.php?f=43&t=21570

Of course no official response and by now I don't care any longer. Don't see the current beta as a very strong sign. Looks just like a necessary update that they need to do to stay compatible. A clear commitment for a product looks different.
