paramater is incorrect
Hi
I am having the above mesage come up on screen when I try to apply the same settings to a few selected pictures. I am running Sandisk Capture One LE version 3.7.7 I am getting some fantastic raw conversions so I would realy like to stay with this software but I have spent hours now trawling the internet with no answers to this. I had decided to completally remove this software from my pc and do a complete reinstall as per the instructions I have seen on here from Phase One with other users. But when I go to add/remove programs I get another error telling me "the install.log file cant be found" therefore I am unsble to remove before going to my registry.
Can anyone shed some light on this please.
I don't know if it makes any diferance but I do not get the film settings come up on the top right either.

It seems something corrupted at some point.
When you make image adjusments, data is written to the Thumbnail or Work files. These must be located in a place with full Read & Write permissions.
Complete Uninstall instructions in Knowledge Base # 1665
http://www.phaseone.com/HOME/Content/Su ... 20-%20Main
INstall should be to local C: and you must have full Admin. privileges.
Preview Cache should be default: C:/Program Files/Phase One/Capture OneLE/Previews
Images best located on C:/Program Files/Phase One/Capture OneLE/Captures/ YOUR RAW files
If problems continue, then create a Support Case for the best assistance at:

Hi
First of all how do I check to see if I have full Read & Write permissions.
I have relocated all my files to the C:/Program Files/Phase One/Capture OneLE/Captures/ YOUR RAW files
As I said I have tried to do an uninstall but I get the error message saying that the install log can not be found.
So how do I then uninstall the program.
Thanks

Sorry
The message is "could not open install.log file"0 -
the install.log is a text document that resides in
C:\\Program Files\\Phase One\\Capture One PRO
you can search you system to see if it still exists.
Someome much wiser than I would be able to tell you whether it is needed to Uninstall.
Did you attempt to get past this message?
Did you install in the default location and allow all default settings upon 1st install?
May just try to delete the Preferenc file to revert to install state.
Close Capture One
locate Preferences.pf file within: C:\\Program Files\\Phase One\\Capture One PRO\\Preferences
Delete and relaunch Capture One and a New file will be created.

Hi
I have tried all this still no luck,
Done preferences, install was all to the default location.
I am using the LE version not pro, this was a Sandisk download.
I just need to delete so that I can do a new install.
Thanks Dave0 -

Hi
Thank you for your time to respond to my problem. I have managed to delete all phase one files from my pc, and i have re installed Sandisk Capture One LE. It looks as though this has worked now as I can see the install.log file in the programs menu, but more importantly I no longer get "the paramater in incorrect" error message.
Thanks
Dave0
