    I think maybe this is one of the anomalies between the Mac version (as displayed in the on-line help) and what can be done with Windows.

    There are a few differences. Not all of them may be identified in the Help files, though many are.

    Swings and roundabouts. Both operating systems have some gains and some losses - bit of course are always each in a state of change so it can be difficult to keep up with what is and is not possible.

    It's a shame it doen't work in windows, that would be a very usseful feature.

    You can use Ctrl+B to turn the browser display on and off. That, in my opinion, may be a better option although I rarely use it.

    The Windows pop up bar almost always pop up when I don't want it to!

    Ctrl+B does the trick as I recall, you can also align Browser to the right of image, if you mostly working with photos in portrait orientation.
