Re-importing photos

I have a problem when trying to reimport in a catalog an already imported (but erases) photo from my HD. C1 refuses to reimport... ☹️

Any idea to "solve" this?...

  What type of photos (RAW/JPEG, what camera, what pixel size)? What version of CO (Express, Pro for Sony, Pro, DB)? What does CO tell you exactly when you try to import?

  It is an import from old scanned photos (Canon Perfection) in .jpg. I noticed afterwards a series of bad scanned pictures, erased them from the catalog and from the storage folder (stored outside the catalog), rescanned with the same name and when I tried to reimport, C1 just does not the import. No message. They just do not appear in C1.

  Maybe you didn't rescan with the same settings. I seem to remember that CO doesn't import certain types of JPEGs. Certainly not if they're too small (the limit is 512 pixels IIRC), and possibly not if they're black and white.

  Same settings except for the scan resolution. And scans are around 2400x3600 pixels. In 24 bits.

  When you try to import, do you see the "activity" window with the progression bar ?
  - If yes, are you sure you have imported them in the good and well identified (by you) folder ?
  - If no, I don't know....
