EXIF Lens information not provided after raw conversion

The EXIF lens information which tells what lens was on the camera when the picture was taken, does not get included when a raw conversion is done. I am using version 3.7 using a Canon 20D. I did not check any other EXIF data to see what gets included and what does not get included with a raw conversion. In order to get all the EXIF information I have to go back to my original raw image. I am reading the EXIF information with PhotoShop CS 2 and BrezzeBrowser. Has anyone else noticed this and why isn't all the information provided when a raw conversion is done?
