.EIP Thumbnail Missing!?
Anyone else having this issue... Since I had upgraded to C1 Pro 6.4.2 i no longer get a thumbnail image when i select an .EIP file in my Mac OS finder window. Instead of the image thumbnail i only see the C1 Pro logo... any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I already went as far as trashing the entire program and its preferences and re-installed the program to no avail.

I noticed this too earlier this week. One Mac has this issue (CO Pro 6.4.2), one has not (6.4.1). Both on OS X 10.7.4. I'll have to look into this next week and will contact Phase One about it.
Would love to hear other user's experience on this.0 -

Hey Paul,
my other Mac running version 6.4 sees the image preview fine as well...i opened a support ticket and will post as soon as i hear something...0 -
After opening a support ticket with Phase One i was informed that the missing thumbnail image on the .EIP raw files is a known issue with the current version (6.4.2) of Capture One on the Mac. I was advised to download version 6.3.5 on my computer and trash the newer version before install of the older version. There isn't a huge difference between the two versions other than camera support for newer cameras (i.e. Canon 5D Mark III). After doing the recommended fix, I was able to regain the thumbnail preview of the raw .EIP files. I assume there will be a fix of the problematic QL browser in the next release of Capture One. In the meantime I will have to rely on the older 6.3.5. Hope that helps anyone with similar issue. 0 -
I got an acknowledgement from Phase One for the issue as well. According to my information, it occurs with 6.4.2 on Lion only (10.7.x), not 10.6.8. 0
