Mac Quad Core and Phase One
Hello,
My partner shoots with a FujiFilm s3 and had been using the Hyper Utility program that was included with the camera.
She has now purchased an Apple Quad Core and the fujifilm hyper utility program is not compatible.
She needs to replace this a.s.a.p with Phase One or something simular and I wanted to know the compatibility and advantages of Phase One and the Quad.
Your timely input is greatly appreciated.

Scott,
Both Capture One PRO and LE support the Fuji S2 and S3
Due to the hexagonal chip of the Fujis, the processing times for the RAW files takes a bit longer duration than other square-chip DSLRs.
That said, many load the batch queue and process over night or get a machine with Dual Processors which will increase process times significantly.
Most important here is that she should see quite a substantial increase in image quality processing Fuji RAW files with Capture One. She will most likely experience an increase in productivity as well with a more efficient workflow.
Lastly, the PRO version can be download for a 30 Day Trial Period and LE for 15-days.
Cheers,

Hi kc,
Two questions:
Is Phase One Pro compatible with OS 10.4.5?
Can you shoot to Phase One Pro?
Regards,

Scott,
Yes - OS Tiger 10.4 compatable with Capture One 3.7.3
PRO will tether directly with Phase One digital backs and All Canon EOS DSLRs
Other tether in-directly using their camera software operating in the background. Other cameras will be added by request and if the manufacturers are willing to share files necessary in order to establish tether.
Regards,
