Process Recipe Results In Overly Large Files
Hello-
I've got a folder of 419 RAW files that is 14 GB in size, yet when I export them via process recipe into full-size TIFFs, the result is a folder that is over 25 GB. Yikes. Settings are:
Format: TIFF
8 bit
Options: Uncompressed
ICC Profile: Adobe RGB (1998)
Resolution: 300 dpi
Scale: Fixed, 100%
File Icon: Create thumbnails on save = unchecked
I'm supposed to upload all 419 TIFF files to a national magazine by tomorrow, (Nov 13) but I can't fit anything that large through the Internet. Does anyone know how to get those photos to be 100% in scale but amount to less than the original 14 GB raw folder total?
Thanks,
Matt

What is the result of turning on compression?
If the other end can not work with tiff having the content compressed, you may try to collect the uncompressed tiffs into one or more compressed archive files (using one of the zip variants for example). I can't tell how much the size will be reduced, it depends on content. With luck you could manage 50% reduction and reach your target size, 25/2 = 12.5 < 14.0
