Quicktime 7.6.9 and Olympus Raw files

I have just updated Quicktime to version 7.6.9. My Olympus ORF Raw files are not converted to thumbnails any longer. I am using Windows 7. The error message displayed says 'No importer found for media files'. Appreciate inputs and advice! Thank you - Ferdinand

  7.6.9 works fine on my W7 machine, have you checked that in media rendering that under the raw tab you have ticked the use embeded preview and selected "Windows Imaging Component" as the prefered engine, as this is what works for me.

  Thank you for your reply. I actually found the issue - and it was my own mistake: I had forgotten - when upgrading to Windows 7 - to properly install the Olympus Raw Codec. I have now changed to Phase One as the preferred engine in for Raw conversion, and this is working fine.
