C1 8 refuse to open
Hello,
I have a problem for opening Capture One 8 :
When I call C1 small loading window turns, then the main window opens and close instantly.
I tested:
- By rebooting the computer Mc book pro
- cleaning the HD in case the computer has not enough disk space (268 GB free)
- Recharging C1 in case my earlier version would be bugged
- By removing the NEF series of photos of D800, in case the files are corrupted. The file stay and do not follow to the next series with D4.
In the short time between opening and closing main window, i seen that the serie of D800 was still present.
I do not have this problem on another computer also under OS 10.9.5 and with D800 series.
Thank's for your help and your return
Regards
Thierry
Second problem : the PhaseOne support is unavailable by the form on the web site !!

Sure we are, we've had a few cases so far this morning.
With regard to your issue;
Try launching the software and holding down the "Option" Key.
Then create a new Session.
If Capture One opens and stays open, the software is just fine. Next, locate a folder you previously accessed in the Library tool, if upon accessing that folder the software crashes, there is a corrupt file in the folder that needs to be rooted out.
If that folder opens fine, try opening the previous Session. If the software crashes, the issue may be that session and you can use the File>Verify Session or Catalog option to repair it should that be necessary.0 -
Thank you very much Drew
That's right with the option key, I have create a new session with success 😄
The first session is running too now without bug !!
I keep preciously in memory this way with the option key.
Best regards
