A couple of questions - what OS are you using?
Are you producing your Tiffs with Capture One? or Photo Shop?
    How are you rendering them.

FYI - I am using Windows 7, and I initially import and render with WIC, not CO. I have not had your problem.

    Hi,thanks for your answer:

    i´m using win 7 64bit.

    I´ve tested the following things:
    1. exported tiff, one of them lzw, directly from CO
2.took a final photoshop tiff, one lzw (original exported by CO)
    3.exported a tiff from d800 with capture NX2

When dragging the folder or all files at once MP hangs up.Drag one by one works.
Drag CO+NX tiffs togehther works too.Drag the two Photoshop tiffs only and MP chrashes
    again.
Seems to be a problem with the Photoshop tiffs (CS6 ext). The files have no path/alpha, are RGB with
Adobe RGB Profile and have the background layer only.
So, if MP can´t handle this files, it is totally useless for me.I´ve thousands of this files and can´t put them
by hand and one after one in my archive.

I'd also check the way you are rendering them.
I had problems with MP until I went to rendering using the WIC, and only then after I installed a new set of Codecs from FastPicturerViewer.
    http://www.fastpictureviewer.com/codecs/

Best move I made, and I think the rendering speed also improved.
