Annoying Beep
I am new to the software, but not new to computers... 😊 I have Phase One Media Pro Version 1.4. I started to use it on Windows 8 OS, and right after I open the software an annoying beeping starts. I checked, it is the Windows Default Beep sound that starts immediately, probably 6-10 times in two or three seconds and it continues until I open a Menu. As long as a Menu is open, it is quiet. If I close, its starts again. As if it was looking for something that does not find, and keeps on warning me... Pretty annoying. Anybody would know what's going on? I have no other application doing it.
Thanks,
Imre

Strange. I am running MP 1.4 on Windows 7 Pro 64bit and have never (as I recall) heard a beep. 0 -

Perhaps something to do with a feature of Windows 8?
I can get C1 to beep fairly randomly on my Win 7 based notebook if I leave the sound on. But that is down to the CPU Monitor Gadget I have installed which is set to provide an audible warning for high core temperatures. Certain activities in C1 can make it very active.
Does Windows 8 have anything built in to provide an audible warning for, perhaps, minor incompatibilities or something like that? A beep but no message?
Just guessing aloud ...
