New to Capture One Pro 5, need assistance...
I have to use Capture One on a Mac at school. When I saved my session on a disc, brought it home to work with the photos at home, on a PC, it will not open and says it is because it was saved from a Mac. When I saved them to a disc I did it so that it would open on Mac/PC.
I have an assignment that is due on Thursday and I have to process these images. Is there a plug in that I can get so that it will open Capture One files on PC after they were shot with Phase One P25, Capture One Mac Version? Please advise.
Thanks in advance!

No, the session itself cannot be moved from one platform to another (PC/Mac), but you can create a new session on your PC and import the images from the Mac session to that (assuming you did put the images on the disk as well as the session file). 0 -
Sammy,
Mikkel is correct, the Session files are not cross platform compatible. However, there is very little information within the session so you won't lose much. All you need to do is create a new session on your PC and then replace your old Captures folder (hopefully on the CD) with the new (now empty) Captures folder you created on your PC. The software will recognize everything else and you'll be good to go.0 -
Thank you so much! That is very helpful. I will try that once I get home from work! 😄 I am still learning Capture One, but I am thinking that I am going to like it better than Lightroom :O))
Thanks for you help!! 😊0 -
