What is a good workflow for multi-user user of MediaPro?

Given the fact that all relevant assets are stored on a local network hard drive.
Should there be only one catalogue, that everybody have access to, which would mean parallel use of the same file?
Or should every user have it's own version of the catalogue and having to enable the auto-update function?

And how can the version folder be used in a way that makes sense?

  Hopefully someone else will chime in, but i don't think the catalog files can be used concurrently by multiple users. Read access may be possible, but if i'm not mistaken, the database is not designed for concurrent access.
  
  You'd need a real multi user database for that.

  HCS is right, MP is not made for use in a multi user environment.
