Update folder now wont quit

I am new to MediaPro (1.1.0.52551) and I just created a catalog containing approx 20,000 images.
After it finished the catalog, I added a few images and I right-clicked on the folder and clicked on "update folder now".
It keeps on spinning (hours).
Is there a way to cancel the command "update folder now" ?
I closed and re-opened the app, and it started sinning again.
How do I stop this,

  The spinning ball seems to be irrelevant. Mine seems to be spinning most of the time, even after I open it. I think the data base is just off looking for changes.
  
  However, you should monitor the other activity indicator. Just to the upper right of the spinning ball is a + sign. Click that, and a new "window" opens up. That will show you activity that you should worry about. I have found that if I click on a photo or ask MP to do another search when that activity window shows action (such as as a save) - I run into problems, often a crash.

  Thanks for your answer, going to the + panel, I saw that it was "stuck" on an image (eps) I removed the image and the "spinning" stopped.
