Scanning b&w using Microtek 120TF and Vuescan problems

    Can you tell us a bit more about your workflow. Like the output type/file from Vuescan; are how are file names and their extensions shown in CO6 and how does this correspond to what you see in Windows Explorer.

    This is the information from vuescan output window:

    printed size --- > 4x6
    auto fine name -> checked
    jpeg file -> checked
    jpeg file name -> @jpg
    jpeg size reduction -> 1
    jpeg quality -> 100

    From properties with one of the scanned images:

    details:
    origin-> date taken 04/11/2012
    program name -> Viescan 9x64 (9.0.92)

    image -> dimensions -> 2813x1866 pixels
    width -> 2813 piels
    height -> 1866 pixels
    horizontal/vertical resolution -> 469 dpi
    bit depth -> 8

    camera -> camera maker -> Microtek
    camera model -> ArtixScan 120tf

    file -> name -> Scan-120411-0002.jpg
    type -> jpeg file
    size -> 2.82 mb
    attributes -> A

    Computer operating system - Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bits..

    For it to be compatible in Capture One's image pipeline it should be tagged with a profile.

    The three images scenario is fixed by assigning the image with a profile (if your scanner software can't do this then you can do it in PS for example) then with Capture One quit, bin the local cache and then relaunch Capture One. Revisit the folder to rebuild proxies.

    As a caveat, to be able to edit it in Capture One the Jpeg needs to be RGB mode - greyscale won't be editable.
