Need Help please !!! Deletet RAW files
Hello Forum
I test Capture One Pro some days ago
I made photos with Canon EOS 5D
I made 240 photos from some sets
in summary 120 .jpg and 120 *.CRW or *.CR2.
I'm not know at the moment the format of files
After import in C1 I'm had define the folder with potos as trash.
I know that's was mistake ;-( but I have no experinance with C1
I could not rename this folder
Later on I had delete this folder with the photos in Capture One Pro
I had not use the Mac after my terrible mistake
My Apple dealer had found the 120 .jpg
Congratulations
But he cannot found the RAW files
Please have someone an idea which application can help us to found the RAW files. They must store on HD
I have 10.3.9
At the moment I doesn't know which application he had used

With a Canon 5D you capture .CR2 files.
If you assign a folder as trash it is not that big of a deal.
You can add another folder and assign that as trash instead and that will take care of that.
In normal workflow to delete a file you need to first delete a file from its normal folder so it goes over to trash, then you have to delete it from trash and confirm it. So it can not really be a mistake.
You can delete folders from Capture One, only the Capture One reference to a folder.
So what you must have done is deleted the folder out of the finder and emptied trash.
What should be done as soon as you discover the mistake is to shut of the computer, attach the hard drive to another computer as a extra drive and run a utility like disk warrior which it can fetch deleted files and folder but ONLY if the sector on the hard drive where the files was located is not overwritten,
I will leave this discussion here when it is more a Mac support issue then Capture One.0
