    lastingimage,

In order to save all image adjustment data for a Session, you will not need to save the Preview files, only the Thumbnails which are about 1K.
These data are saved within the Work files or Thumbnails and tagged .C1w
The Thumbnail / Work files are established and saved along with the Preview files [ .C1p ] within their default location of C:\\Program Files \\ Phase ONE \\ Capture One PRO \\ Previews
Files for All Sessions are kept in this location.
Files remain there and any further adjustments are updated and saved. When a Session is removed from Capture One, they will need to be saved and archived.

thanks a ton, that seems to be doing the trick. i have one more question however, if i load the archived settings do i need to rearchive the session or are the C1W files automatically updated in the archived folder. if they are not, will C1 overwrite the old C1W's automatically for me if i do another archive save to the same folder.

    lastingimage,

The same tool you Archived with will restore the settings...

Workflow > Selected Capture Settings > with choices of Save to Archive and Restore from Archive.

Reload your archived job and then restore the .c1w files from their saved location. Yes, if the .C1w file were rebuilt, restoring will overwrite them.
I think it makes sense to save the Work file within the same Session folder of the RAWs.

    Cheers,
    kc
