CO 8 will not allow live view and tether shooting with EOS-M
I can get the 60D to work just fine but the EOS-M will not work.
Live view is not working and I can not take pictures with the EOS-M, but is does connect so I know CO recognizes it. Is it supported? It is on the support matrix.

This is not a limitation of Capture One but a limitation of the camera.
You can for example shoot tethered with it. But you can not trigger the shutter from the computer, it must be done from the camera.0 -

Thank you for your reply. I am fully aware that the EOS-M is not capable of tethered shooting, not even EOS Utility allows it. Your camera support matrix and web site led me to believe you had somehow circumvented that limitation and I was confused when it did not work. You should probably make that more obvious, just my 2 cents.

The matrix states limitations in Capture One implementation.
We can not implement what the camera simply can not do.0
