tethered shooting compatibility with Version 12

I have quite an old back.....Aptus 75 which works fine with Version 10 but I am unable to shoot tethered with version 12.
Has anyone encountered this problem and is there a solution ?
I have now retired so am unlikely to buy new equipment.
