DNG files delinked to teh Sessions folder

I have recently moved my workflow from Photomechanic(PM6)/LR classic to Capture One Pro sessions.

While bringing all Sessions folders under one Master folder, I realized that in some of my earlier Sessions wherein I had first imported the images from the SD card into PM6 and then created a sessions folder, the DNG files are not within the respective sessions folder. Is there a way to bring the images linked to the cosessiondb file but residing in another folder into the sessions folder, without loosing the edits?

  You may want to try out something like the following:

  a) Put a test-image in the same folder as the misplaced image files.

  b) Edit the test image using the same session as with the misplaced files:

  c) Pack the test file as EIP 

  d) Move (move, not copy) the EIP file to  the correct folder

  e) Navigate to the EIP in the relevant session and unpack it

  f) Check if edits are in place

  If it works, you have the skeleton of a procedure.
