Generating preview too slow CO 2 (13.1.1.31)

It takes ages to generate previews, using last version of Capture One 2 (13.1.1.31) on Windows 10 Pro.

Cca 4000 previews took more than 1 hour. Terrible. 

 

HW resources are not well used at all. Usage during generating:

- CPU (AMD 3900x): 10 % and only 4 cores were used (from 12)

- RAM (32 GB): 2 GB

- GPU (Nvidia RTX 2700S): 7-12 %

- SSD NVME

 

Comparing to the previous version of Capture One (1.2), the current one is more than 10 times slower.

That is not normal. Where is the problem, Phase One?

  Ask Capture One (not Phase One, is not involved anymore unless you have Phase One hardware, you can contact them). Use the Submit a request option at the top of this page.

  When I first moved to C1, I imported 300000 images into a catalogue and it took over 22 hours. Your import on average seems to be a little slower, but not by much.

  Same problem here: slow, very slow at generating previews at import. The worst is that capture one is utterly unusable while previews are being generated :(
