I have Capture One 20 loaded on my desktop computer.

How do I load a second copy to my laptop

 

Sorry for that – I was overthinking it – expecting it to be a lot more complicated

This 82 year old was having a very senior moment

  Yes as Odds said just download the software to your laptop and then install. Use the same product key.

  As OddS wrote.

   

  Or, if you still have the original download file on you Desktop, copy it to your laptop and install it.

  Activate with the same activation code so long as the desk top activation code is not for an Express version.

   

  If you have an activation code for a full "Pro" version you can have activations at any time on 3 separate devices using the same key.

  If you have a Camera Manufacturer version related activation key you can activate on 2 separate devices with the same key.

  If you have both Windows and Mac operating systems you will need different downloads but you should be able to use the same activation key.
