Local adjustment automatic rename
Hi guys, I have a number of saved local adjustments. Is there a way to have the new layer automatically renamed to the saved adjustment, as opposed to Adjustment Layer 1/2/3 etc?
This would be a fantastic feature particularly if you have more than 2 layers.

Hi Pete,
if it would rename to the applied adjustment, it would indicate "what" was but
not "where" it was applied… unless you see the mask.
I rename each new new layer manually by describing "where" like sky, head,
eyes, forest, car, etc.0 -
Yes, so I just want it to automatically rename to my preset/style adjustment name. Currently it stays with Adjustment 1 or Adjustment 2 etc. Is there a way to set this up?

Sorry I meant the Adjustment layer

No automatic naming. Other then the defaults you mention.
There is no reason to assume that the layer is only using one preset (in effect a style is a likely to be a group of presets anyway) and how it is eventually used may not be something that could be automatically derived for naming purposes. Indeed there is no certainty that the style would be left as it is after applying it.
I understand what you seek and can think of some reasonable use cases that people might adhere to for their own needs but as a generic usage idea I'm not so sure that it could be effective across a wide enough use case scenario to make it work for most people.
When I have a repeating use of a layer across a collection of images I tend to create one or two "master" images with layers named the way I want them to be named and then copy and paste to the rest of the images as I work though them. That retains the layer names and usually the layers are already further adjusted to suit the particular set of shots more closely than the original preset/style settings offer.
Your needs may be different?
