Layers | Film Grain
I applied film grain to a new "layer" and capture one will not allow me to see the difference when I turn the layer off.
Simply put, once the film grain is applied it doesn't turn off even when the layer is turned "off".
The only way to remove the grain from the image is to reset the image and lose whatever progression you've made on the edit.
Once added you can never get the film grain off the image.

Creating a layer basically indicates you intend to apply a LOCAL adjustment
and, since film grain is on the whole image and not on part of it, CO will not
apply to a layer but to the WHOLE background.
If you want to remove the film grain, bring the sliders back to zero.0 -
I never knew that, thank you very much, I appreciate you taking the time to help.
