C1-Pro. Apple M1 - Specific Tools Non-Functional

Hello - 

 

I am using C1-Pro with an Apple Silicon Mac Mini.  

 

In general - happy.   I just tossed an old 80,000 image library in with no big problems. 

 

The colour editor does not seem to work 100%.  Basic Tab - works.  Skin Tone - slower.  Advanced Tab - no joy. 

 

Is this just me or is there a known issue or am I doing something wrong?   Thanks.

    It seems to me that Capture One 20 is not supported by Apple Silicon yet. So, you are lucky that many tools are working !

    I understand that.

     

    The last few YouTubes from C1 had said that C1 was working nicely through Rosetta.   I can conform this.  

     

    I am wondering if my experience is a known hiccup, a system being taxed or a user error.

    Presumably if you are using an Apple Silicon Mac mini, it is running Big Sur, which is also not supported yet. Could it be because of Big Sur rather than because of Apple Silicon?

    FWIW, I am running C1 20 on Big Sur for about two weeks of heavy use, although not Silicon, and have had zero problems.

    Same here.
    C1 v20 on Mac Mini (m1) running Big Sur.
    Color editor Advanced Tab not working for newly edited images.
    If and image had the adjustment previously applied, the advanced Tab works fine (images edited on intel mac that include the color editor advanced tab) .
    If you paste adjustments that include the color advanced tab then it also works fine.

    C1v21 on Mac mini (m1) running Big Sur.

    Lots of minor problems, for instance finding where to click magnifier tool and other tools to get drop down menus, I get the feeling I have to find a specific single pixel.  Color readout is very slow to update. Heal layer edits do not appear on jpeg outputs etc.

    I have been a long time user of CO (since about v3) but have always kept an up to date copy of Lightroom (classic) on my machine and can report it is working perfectly under Rosetta 2 so there is no reason CO can not work as well.

    By the way the beta of the apple silicon version of photoshop is well worth trying
