Sync Metadata while tethering

Hello,

can someone please explain or help me with this:

I need to sync metadata while tethering. The only working way so far seems to copy the needed settings to the clipboard to apply them to the new files. But anytime I need to change one of the metadata, I need to copy again all settings, then click on the metadata and select what I need in the clipboard tool. 
1: is there a way to permanently preselect things from there?

2: strangely not all of the metadata are synced into the .xml files, so other Programs like InDesign or Bridge cameras them. Some data are missing. Why could that be?

  First, make sure that the clipboard has the metadata clicked.
  
  
  Second, select "copy from last! in the dropdown window.
