CO 21 crop unusabley slow :-(

I've been a somewhat happy user for about 10 years and this is my first big disappointment - just upgraded to 21 (14.02) and started to work with images. Unfortunately it seems that cropping (and rotating) are almost unusably slow. No idea why this is - I'm using a small catalogue, I tried with and without Hardware Acceleration, never saw anything like this in v20. I'm running a 2019 MBP with 32G RAM so I don't think my computer should be a limiting factor - I certainly don't expect to see beachballing when I'm cropping.

I wonder if this is a problem recognised by CO ?

This has been reported. Support's suggestion was to delete the plist file, you can find the instructions here...https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003121597-Reset-the-application-s-preference-file-on-macOS.

It is not an elegant solution because it resets COs as if it is opening for the first time. It is also not a permanent solution either because I have had to do it a few times. I have also found that sometimes just closing and reopening may temporarily solve the problem.
