Import

I have an issue where I created a catalog, and I want to import the photos or (add to my catalog) an image folder. I've been doing it this way since I began with C1 and now all of a sudden it's tell me "Cannot Store files in current location. Would you like to import into the catalog instead" and if I do that it's gonna make a duplicate of all the images. Can anyone else weigh in? This issue just began while exporting to the same SSD and it ended up being full haulting the export and then it through a error in the events. I've tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling it but I don't think its fully uninstalling cuz all of my panels and my workspace stay the same. Additionally I even tried changing the name of the drive to trick it. I've also moved a significant amount of photos off that drive as well.

I have the same problem here which of course renders this program completely useless. Can't import - can't do much else.

Brand new Catalog.

No useful hints in the error message.

Nothing in the Application.log file which indicates a problem.

I've checked permissions on the folder to be in-place imported.

I started having this same problem recently, after many months of importing by adding the photos and leaving them in the same location on my D: drive. Now it says "cannot store files in current location.."
