Capture one catalogue
Can anyone suggest a way of cloning or copying a catalogue to a NAS so that in the event of a corrupted file, or other disaster, I could simply replace the corrupted catalogue with a backup copy. My intention is to make a catalogue on a portable hhd which includes the catalogue file and the actual photo's in a separate folder on the same disk . The idea being that I can always replace the whole thing and not have to rebuild a huge catalogue from scratch, which I have now had to do twice. Suggestions would be appreciated thanks..

Mac or Windows? Or both?
How "real time" do you need this to be?

Mac only. I could synchronise the photo files on a network as backup uses software called Goodsync if possible. I think that's my plan

I store my catalog on a 2 disk raid drive and then use chronosync to sync the external raid to my NAS. Works perfect.
