Session doesn't display TIFF file after "Edit with" in an external application.
Session doesn't display TIFF file after "Edit with" in an external application. The file is saved in the Capture folder, I can see them in the finder, but they are not displayed inside the Session after upgrading to 21.1.1 - it was working perfectly before.
I've reinstalled Capture One, reinstalled the external applications, tested several (Topaz & Photoshop) but the TIFF files aren't displayed in the Capture folder inside the session.
How can this be fixed? A friend doesn't have this problem after upgrading. Nothing else changed in my system. Running the latest BigSur on iMac.
Thanks for any insights and solutions.

Just in case it can help someone, I figured out what the problem was. For some strange reason, after I upgraded to Capture One 21.1.1, when I used the "Edit with" command to send a file to Topaz or Photoshop, the Tiff file would be saved in my Capture folder (inside my session), but it would not be displayed inside the session again. I tried reinstalling C1 and the Topaz apps, to no avail. A friend couldn't replicate the problem.
Finally, I realized that in my Library view in the session, I had the Session Albums set to "All Images", which didn't show the new Tiff files or any image file manually added to the Capture folder. However, when I went to select the Session Folders Capture Folder in the Library, the new images were being shown. Albums didn't show them, but Folders did. Further troubleshooting showed that for all the new images, there were no XMP side files, but somehow, in this review process they got created and once the XMP files were there, the new images would show in the Session Albums. I don't know how it got fixed, but from that point on, using the "Edit with" command started creating the new Tiff file with its XMP side file, so all is well now.
I don't know if anyone who reads this can figure out what happened, but since it may happen to others at some point, I wanted to share how it got solved for me.
