Updating C1 20 catalog to C1 21

Hi

I currently have C1 20 and wanted to try out C1 21. However, when I try to open a catalog (which opens fine in C1 20) I get this error 

So, I try to verify and repair, then I get "database connection failed" message. So, I try and repair it and I get a "database repair ok" message. Then when I try to open it again I get back to the first message.

Anyone else had this problem?

  OK, I think I fixed it...eventually!

  I ended up creating a new catalog in C1 20, importing the original catalog into that, and then that then opened in C1 21.

  Go figure...
