Exporting Files Some appear to be corrupt

I am on Mac IOS Mojave  - 15" Macbook Pro

Cameras:  Sony a7iii and Canon 5D MK III

Issue: Some JPG files appear to be corrupt after export if they go to the designated folder at all 

Location: 5tb External HD dedicated to Capture One 21

Is it the CPU, video card, or some other issue?

I Export at sizes between 300-600dpi depending on client need. In the meantime, I will reduce the size and see what happens.

I am a concert, fashion, and wedding photographer.

  In the Preferences, turn off "Use Hardware Acceleration" if it is currently On and then try the export again. 

  It's a simple test to ascertain whether the problem is GPU related. If it is, a GPU driver problem might be the cause.
