Big problem: slow slow slow CO 21 on MacbookPro in Monterey

Capture One 21 seems terribly slow. 

It takes up to more than 10 seconds on any change like exposure, white balance etc. (just basics) to change one photo.

Using Canon raw .cr3 from Canon R5 45mpx. on a 2019 MacBookPro with 64 GB Ram and best graphic card.

Is there any settings which could speed it u?
