C1 v22 capture problems on a Mac
Hi, I am on monthly subscription with C1 v22 at this time on iMac. But since recent Mac OS and Capture One updates, I am no longer able to shoot tethered with my Credo 40/Firewire800 cable, nor can I shoot with my older Leaf Valeo back. Can't imagine I'm the only photographer with this problem. Anyone have a solution? Thx

According to this page: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020418257-Capture-One-21-14-2-0-release-notes
FireWire tethering is no longer support in Capture One 21 (14.2.0) and forward.
I believe the "and forward" part covers Capture One 22. My guess is that to use Firewire you will need to downgrade to a release older than 14.2.0. I haven't a clue how to do that when using the monthly subscription.

You may be able to access firewire devices using Apple's Thunderbolt to Firewire Adapter. I have such an adapter that allows a 800fire wire drive to be used on an iMac. The item is located on Apple's website, within Power and Cables , on page 4. Works fine with Big Sur. I can use the fw drive to access photos etc with C1-22.
