Perfomance Issues in Cone 22 with Retina Modes

I am facing a huge performance issue with the new Cone 22 (15.1.0.123.

My HW:
MacPro 2013 (12core, 2xD700, 128GB, 1TB) 2x LG31MU97z (31" 4096x2160)
Test Fotos: Fuji GFX100s RAW, Preview Size 2560px (but it makes no diff if I use fotos from my X-T3)
and I makes no difference if I use HW acceleration or not (GPUs are not really used)

Test is: simply switch to the next foto

ScreenRes Retina time to switch [sec]
4096x2160 1.3
3360x1772 x 2.7
3008x1586 x 2.8 (my favour resolution)
2731x1440 x 1.7
2560x1350 x 1.7
3360x1772 1.0
3008x1586 0.7

So I can choose:
- slow but great looking
- or faster and I need a loupe in native res.
- or nice performance but facing a "blured" view.

I remember that I had the same issue in Cone 20 and then it was great until Cone 21 (14.4)

btw.
- this time similar to my MacBookPro2019 (8core, 32GB, 1TB) 2x LG31MU97z (31" 4096x2160)

- no performance issues in DxO 5, so its not OS related.
