Lens correction problems after syncing between Windows Desktop PC and Macbook

I have recently bought a macbook and want to be able to work on my edits from both my windows PC and my Macbook. I have all my files on a NAS and the catalog lives on both my computers locally in a google drive folder that is thus synced between the two computers. This all works completely fine, except for one problem. Once I have viewed some files on my windows PC the lens correction is messed up on my macbook. The files keep looking correct on windows but the distortion slider is no longer available and the lightfall off creates a white vignette. Has anyone run into this problem and know how to solve it? Except for this one issue everything works fine.

Change to a different lens correction profile and the back the normal options show and the image looks correct.
