That is not what the dialog in your screen dump says. What happens if you click Browse, navigate to find the existing catalog and open it?

So does that imply that KB5011487 recreates a new "Recents" list in the registry or that it has moved something and made existing internal links obsolete?

I think no, not in general, but with the disclaimer that I run C1 v20 (not v22). My laptop already had the KB5011487 installed and brought up my last session just fine. I opened a small test catalog that I keep around and I observed no problem. My desktop computer did not have that KB installed so I opened a test catalog in C1, closed C1, installed the KB, restarted the computer. C1 opens the catalog without any issues.

I get the same pop up when I open from a browser.
I have the feeling that I am going to have to uninstall and reinstall - any thoughts ?
