Full XMP Sync Messes Naming for RAW/JPGs Pairs When Moving Files
Love everything about CO and have my workflow figured out except for this issue.
I shoot both RAW and JPG files on my Fuji cameras and they get imported to CO elegantly renamed still as pairs (Example: IMG_002.RAF -> NamingConvention1.RAF, IMG_002.JPG -> NamingConvention1.JPG). Since I have "Auto Sync Sidecar XMP" set to Full Sync in the settings, the XMP either gets created with the same naming convention upon import or if it's already created by FastRawViewer it gets loaded and then renamed to the naming convention in CO. This means the ratings I make in the XMP file (in CO or FastRawViewer) affect the ratings for both the RAW and the JPG files, or at least that's the intention. All this is great.
Issue comes up when I drag any of these files and move them from one folder to another in CO. It renames the JPG files with " 1" at the end as if they're repeated, and creates new XMP files for these new names. Any workaround for this? Is this a bug or expected behavior?
