Short Cuts not working

I was trying to create multiple shortcuts. I created a shortcut to create a new filled layer mask. it works fine. After creating my skin tone and making the changes (would be nice to have a shortcut to select Color editor, skin tone, and color picker) i want to be able to clear the mask so i can paint what i need. So i created a short cut to clear the mask under Layer, but it doesnt clear the mask for the selected layer under Layers. Hopefully someone can help (hopefully its possible).
