Cannot view or edit newly imported images in Capture One 22 Build 15.2.0.59, but can in version 21

After upgrading to this build, images imported into new sessions are not displayed. The Session Favorite name is displayed but no image file thumbnails or in the main edit area. The imported files are present in the Capture folder with the associated sidecar (?) files. I have tried this several times on two different dates and with different images, with no success. I first encountered this problem on 2022-04-24.

Windows 10 Home, Camera Fujifilm XH-1, RAF files.
