captureOne 22 crashing on startup

    I am with you! Brand new top of the line system and it is kaput on the upgrade!

    Try the solution below (net 3.5 framework) 

    It didn't work for me.

    I am going to try and reinstall an older version

    The Pro version is exactly the same executable file, with the available features controlled by the licence key.

    Have either of you sent a support request - with logs, etc. - to Capture One?

    YES I have sent all the crash file logs and separately a description to support.  No answers as of yet.

    I thought I had solved the issue

    deleted all files search C: hidden and unhidden files

    deleted from registry

    deactivated all computers

    returned to original. .exe file

    and I was close, email/password accepted, license code accepted, loaded fine, gave me a screen to launch C1 and green wave appeared...........unexpected crash appeared again.  Despondent.

    Sent all the logs to C1.  

    We will see if they answer, I have run out of ideas.

    Still no reply from C1..........is it because I have C1express? Does Pro give you better customer service?

    Response from C1 didn't work.

    No solution from C1, last suggestion was a clean reinstall, still not working, and 5 days passed without comment from them.  

    Why pay for a subscription ....??

    DXO PureRaw2 maybe a solution for me.
