Star rating not working after update

Star rating not working after update 15.2. 

All made ratings disappeared. Sorting three different photo shoots disappeared without a trace. Nothing is loaded from xmp files.

When I try to rate again, the stars appear, but when I move to the next photo, the rating disappears.

Does anyone know the solution to the problem?

Totally frustrating...
