Version 22. Import new images from folder (Windows) into C1 does not get all images

I have imported thousands of images to C1 so I know how to do this basic thing. Let us say I have 10 new images  (nr 1-10) in a folder I like to import. I click the Import option in the menu, and select all 10 images in the folder. Thumbnails of the selected images then appear before I actually click Import. However only images 1-9 or 2-10 are in the thumbnail window. There is always 1 missing, first or last. So I skip the import and do it all over again  and choose the 10 images. If I am lucky they all appear as thumbnails this time. Or I nead to try it all a third time. Is there a minor bug causing this. The problem started with version 22, version 21 was fine. Very confusing and annoying.
