Really excited about wifi tethering for sony, but, having installed the update and connected my A7Riv, it works, but is not really usable I'm getting 15-20 seconds per image transfer time, and slowing for a burst of shots, against maybe a 15 sec delay of the last of a 10 frame burst transfer on tether cable. Have I set something up wrong?

  Well, are you shooting at full 60MP resolution?  That would create uncompressed RAW files of 120MB.
  It then depends a lot on your WiFi network and the A7Riv's wireless performance.

  A user at DPreview tested wifi speeds and found 9.5MB/s for file transfer and up to 5 MB/s for the Sony wireless tethering (with live view off)

  This gives a transfer time between 12.5 and 24 seconds. Pretty much in line with your experience.
