Capture One version 15.3.0 - error on startup - database file cannot be opened
Dear company, Capture One!
I have been using your software for several years and enjoy it immensely.
But recently when I switched to version 15.3.0 I got a problem. I could not start Capture One. After launching, a notification came up on the screen to select the catalog/ session of the existing or new one. When I selected an existing session, a message popped up saying that there was an error opening the database file. I got the same message when I tried to create a new session.
The same behavior was received when:
- Installing the build on top of an already installed
- uninstalling the existing one and then installing the software again.
Capture One version - 15.2.1.9
OS - Windows 10

Bruno, thanks for the link.
I read it, BUT - moving the software to a new build should not lead to this kind of manipulation. Otherwise, the respected company should have attached a manual that there is such an error, that it will not be solved and that it should be bypassed with the following instructions. BUT - there is no manual/instruction. This is a bug, it must be fixed!

C1 support has acknowledged this bug (at least in my case):
"This issue will be fixed in the next service release.
Until then, make sure that you rename any custom Aspect Ratios
that are named the same as the built-in ones, like 1x2. "Custom ratios are stored here:
C:\Users\"Owner"\AppData\Local\CaptureOne\Presets60\CropRatiosDon't confuse the CropRatios folder with the Crop Ratios folder.
I just deleted the custom ratios I had in CropRatios and C1 was working again..0
