Processing specifications (export) bug

If I want to export my processed pics and the export-format is set by hook (jpeg - full size, highest quality) but highlighted in the list is f.e. TIF, I get an error (the selected specifications will be not used in the processing). From my viewpoint that makes no sende because I selected jpeg and not TIF.
