Coming from Luminar - how to add folders? – Centro de ayuda de Capture One

Hello,

I used Luminar in a very basic way.

I stored all my photographs in a folder called Photography.

Within photography, folders are by year.

So 2019, 2020,2021 etc etc

Each year contains months folders and then days folders (within months)

So Photography\2020\Jan\3-5

Whenever I edited using Luminar, I would access the raw photographs, edit them, then export them to the same folder of the raw.

So my 3-5 January 2020 folder would contain raw and jpg files.

Now I want to create a Catalog in C1 22.

I am thinking, but very open to suggestions, of creating a Catalog called photography on my C drive My documents folder.

Then I want to add import the photography I mentioned above.

How should I go about doing that?

What I aim to do is stop using Luminar for now and start using C1 22.

I guess I'd like to export jpgs I created/edited from raw files into the folder - as I did earlier.

I have a lot of images in these folders that I have not yet edited.

I would like to browse through these images by folder - as if I were accessing them from my windows explorer.

Thoughts?

Again, I am very open to suggestions.

I just installed C1 22 today and have not yet created Catalogs or Sessions.
