I am a C1 user since many years but now I need your help.
I use C1 with catalogues, one for each year, in the catalogue I make an album for each work. I import my originals out from C1 in an HD where I store every work, then I open C1, create a specific album and then I import my raw pictures by living them in the original location of my HD.
And now my questions.
1)I always procede as I said but in a few cases I don' know why, the originals are double, I can find my originals raw files in my usual HD but also in the catalogue (I can see this by opening the catalogue file in which in the folder "originals" I found the original raw files). this causes the catalogue to become very heavy. Why this happens? I repeat that this happens only a few time (3 in an year) but I always procede in the same way.
2) The other question it's about the LOCATE function. If I change the name of the original folder where my original raw files sit obviously C1 can't find the original any more so when I open the album all the pictures are marked with "?". If I choose a single picture in C1 and select LOCATE I can connect with the original raw file (in the folder with the name changed). Is there a way to reconnect all the files in the album with the function LOCATE? I tried many times but I was able to reconnect only one file at he time and as the album contains hundreds of pictures this is a big problem!
