Working with local corrections without access to the originals

Capture One generates preview images, but does not allow you to edit the created preview images using local corrections without access to the original photos. I work with network storage and while traveling I would like to edit the imported images to the fullest using masks, gradients and other local correction tools. It turned out that competitive software can work with local corrections without access to the original photos. Could you add this feature in the next software releases? This would greatly help speed up the work and processing of phot. It seems to me that this will not be difficult for you.
